The sun is shining, the flowers bloom and the nature comes back to life – and you’re just tired? That must be the spring fever. But where does it come from and what can you do against the disturbing depletion?Spring fever

The reasons.

The spring fever is caused mainly by the changes in temperature. The body gets used to slow down because the cold of winter caused typical reaction on the warmer temperatures: The blood vessels provide heat far and thus the blood pressure had changed. And that comes the feeling of fatigue. Mostly it occurs when it was warm a few days. If colder and then warmer again it can also lead to acceleration of fatigue periods.
In addition to the blood pressure the levels of melatonin plays a role. Melatonin is a hormone produced in the pineal body and the day-night rhythm of the human body controls. After the long winter months, the concentration of so-called sleep hormone in the blood is especially high. However, all men are not equally affected by the feeling of springtime lethargy – especially weather-sensitive people and those with generally lower blood pressure often complain of this phenomenon, just like older people.

What can you do?

Very important: Take care of yourself. Do not overwork in any circumstances, because this has the opposite effect. A few simple tricks can help you quickly perk up again. Get out on daylight, as often as possible to get used to slowly rising temperatures. You should also move a lot – so do not keep just your face in the sun, but go a little walk or ride bike. Of course, properly exercise helps the best. This is good for the blood pressure and makes your general state better and help awake. The more you activins the better you will cope with climate change.

After a few days enjoy sun.

Anyway if during longer period you feel tired or exhausted strongly, you should contact with doctor. Maybe you have other causes for constant fatigue, such as mental diseases (burn-out) or infections, endocrine and metabolic disorders. Otherwise, the symptoms should disappear after a few days, so you can enjoy the fresh sunrays.
